Wellness Notice

RE.DOCTOR is a wellness technology platform designed to help people understand their body's natural rhythms and patterns.

What RE.DOCTOR Is

RE.DOCTOR is a wellness technology platform designed to help people understand their body's natural rhythms and patterns. We provide tools for tracking:

  • Resting heart rate trends
  • Breathing pattern awareness
  • Personal temperature baselines
  • Sleep duration and quality signals
  • Activity-to-wellness correlations

What RE.DOCTOR Is NOT

RE.DOCTOR is not a medical device. Specifically:

  • We do not diagnose diseases or medical conditions
  • We do not monitor chronic health issues
  • We do not replace medical equipment or clinical measurements
  • We do not provide alerts for dangerous health thresholds
  • We do not integrate with clinical systems or electronic medical records
  • We do not support medical billing or insurance reimbursement
  • We are not regulated by the U.S. FDA or CE-marked under EU regulations

Regulatory Positioning

United States

RE.DOCTOR is positioned under the FDA's General Wellness Policy for Low Risk Devices. This means we operate as a wellness product, not a regulated medical device. We make no medical claims and do not market to healthcare providers or patient populations.

European Union

RE.DOCTOR is positioned under EU MDR Recital 19, which clarifies that software for general purposes and lifestyle/wellness purposes is not a medical device. We comply with MDCG 2019-11 Rev. 1 (June 2025) guidance on software qualification and do not establish a medical intended purpose.

Using RE.DOCTOR Responsibly

Do's

  • Use RE.DOCTOR for personal wellness awareness and lifestyle tracking
  • Share wellness trends with healthcare providers for conversation context
  • Adjust your routine based on wellness insights that feel helpful
  • Export your data for personal records
  • Continue using medical devices and treatments prescribed by your doctor

Don'ts

  • Ignore symptoms or delay seeking medical care because RE.DOCTOR shows normal trends
  • Change medications or treatment plans based on RE.DOCTOR data
  • Rely on RE.DOCTOR for emergency health decisions
  • Use RE.DOCTOR as a substitute for clinical consultations
  • Make medical diagnoses for yourself or others using RE.DOCTOR

When to Seek Medical Attention

Use RE.DOCTOR for wellness insight, not for deciding whether you need urgent care. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience:

  • Chest pain, pressure, or tightness
  • Sudden shortness of breath
  • Severe dizziness, weakness, or confusion
  • Fainting or near-fainting episodes
  • Sudden numbness, especially on one side
  • Slurred speech or vision changes
  • Thoughts of harming yourself

Do not wait for RE.DOCTOR data or trend analysis to determine if you need medical care.

For People With Medical Conditions

If you have been diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, sleep disorders, or other medical conditions, you may still use RE.DOCTOR for general wellness awareness. However:

  • Your medical treatments should continue under physician guidance
  • RE.DOCTOR data cannot replace clinical monitoring equipment
  • Your healthcare provider may decline to incorporate wellness data into your medical record
  • Always prioritize your doctor's advice over wellness app insights

See our Medical Conditions Page for condition-specific details.
