What is the RE.DOCTOR SDK?
The RE.DOCTOR Software Development Kit (SDK) enables mobile applications to capture biometric wellness data using standard smartphone cameras or paired wearables. It processes Photoplethysmography (PPG) signals entirely on the user's device, ensuring raw data never leaves the phone. This architecture supports GDPR compliance and eliminates the need for HIPAA or FDA medical device clearance for general wellness features.

Integration Timeline
Follow these four steps to deploy RE.DOCTOR in your application:

Deploy to a limited cohort of 20–50 early adopters to validate performance in real-world conditions.
4. Full Rollout
Launch to production with full analytics enabled. Monitor usage metrics and optimize feature adoption.

Data Flow Architecture
- Input: User places finger on camera (Primary) or pairs Bluetooth wearable (Optional).
- Processing: On-device algorithm extracts heart rate, breathing rate, and temperature baselines.
- Output: Structured JSON response sent to your app logic. No raw video or image data is transmitted.
White-Label Delivery
The scanning interface runs entirely within your application's UI. The RE.DOCTOR brand does not appear to end-users. You retain full ownership of the customer relationship and data governance.

Is there a free tier for testing?
Yes. The Developer Tier is free and includes sandbox access, initial development tools, and a limited number of API calls per month for testing purposes.
Does the SDK require a backend server?
No. The core biometric processing happens entirely on the user's device. However, you will need a backend to receive the JSON callbacks containing the wellness insights.
Is RE.DOCTOR compliant with GDPR?
Yes. Because raw camera data never leaves the device and only anonymized trend data is transmitted, RE.DOCTOR is designed to be fully GDPR compliant and minimizes data sovereignty risks.
Can I use this for medical diagnosis?
No. RE.DOCTOR is strictly for general wellness and lifestyle purposes. It is not a medical device and cannot be used for diagnosing, treating, or monitoring chronic diseases.
How do I get API keys?
Create a developer account on our portal to instantly receive sandbox credentials. Production keys are issued after your pilot launch review.
